The Challenge
ZuAhKii doesn’t play fair! She bounces around unpredictably, testing your reflexes and quick thinking. Your goal: tap or swipe to create blocks that bounce her back to the center of the cage. But stay sharp—one wrong move could lead to chaos!

What Inspired ZuAhKii (And How It Came to Be)
ZuAhKii began as an experiment—a way to challenge traditional arcade mechanics while marking the start of my journey into the game industry. I wanted to create something simple yet engaging, a project that would teach me not just game design but also the process of selling games.
At first, ZuAhKii was designed with mechanics resembling a match-3 game, but during its MVP stage, I wasn’t satisfied with how it played. I wanted something more dynamic and unpredictable. That’s when the idea struck: what if I flipped the classic Breakout formula on its head? Instead of controlling a paddle to break blocks, the player would create blocks to contain an unpredictable, bouncing cat. That idea stuck, and ZuAhKii became what it is today.
Interestingly, ZuAhKii wasn’t even my original project. I initially set out to build a more complex game, but as development progressed, I realized I needed something easier to complete as a first step. ZuAhKii became that project—a game that not only taught me valuable lessons but also laid the groundwork for future games by introducing mechanics I plan to expand on later.
Reflections on the Journey
Looking back, ZuAhKii is the best game I could create with the limited resources I had. Every design choice, challenge, and lesson shaped the final product, and I’m proud of what I accomplished. This game represents more than just its mechanics—it’s the starting point of something bigger.
I’m also incredibly grateful to everyone who helped along the way, whether through feedback, encouragement, or guidance. (Including you as well, ChatGPT!) Creating a game isn’t just about putting code and art together—it’s about learning, improving, and pushing forward. And for me, ZuAhKii is just the beginning.
